Best Day Ever
Yesterday may have been the best day ever. Let me explain...
We had a pretty sweet surf although the waves were a bit choppy. Later that night Barry and I went to go see my favorite LA band, Simon Dawes.
This weirdo band opened up. They played surf rock and were a bit scary. Here is a crumby picture, but you get the gist

After that weirdness, Simon Dawes took the stage playing a set of songs from their album Carnivore, and a batch of new songs. These guys are really worth checking out. http://myspace.com/simondawes FYI they are playing the next two Monday's at The Echo. The show is Free, so if you live in LA i highly recommend going.
At the show we ran into our friend Alex Greenwald, lead singer from Phantom Planet, who would only be photographed from the wrist down.
He really would make a great hand model. Also in attendance were members of Maroon 5, The Like, Gideon Yago (from MTV), and our dear friend and confidant The Gray Kid. He likes to pick on Barry, while mugging for the camera
Gray Kid is playing at spaceland this Wednesday night. You should all go. Here is the flyer. I love him but, ewww!
We finished the night off at our local Monday night spot, The Bronson Bar. Good times, great people. And we end today's blog with Barry's deepest thoughts.
